Funding for 2 Year Old Children.
Your child may be entitled to 15 hours free childcare during term time from the term after their birthday.
Funding for 3 and 4 year old children.
From the beginning of the term after their third birthday all 3 year old children are eligible to receive 15 hours of free education during term time. This continues when they become 4 years old.
Although education is free, food and services are not free.
All funded sessions are subject to charges for meals and snacks, nappies, wipes and nappy cream. The Haven charges monthly for these. Universal credits or Tax Free Childcare may contribute towards these costs.
Funding for 30 hours.
The Haven offers 30 hours funding during school term times to families who are eligible to claim. It will be offered on a sessional basis where each session is of 5 hours in duration (8am to 1pm/1pm to 6 pm). We remain open during school holidays and ask Parents and Carers to book in advance, the additional paid sessions that they will require during the holidays.
For more information about funded sessions and to check if you are eligible go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
